Origins of Asia Edition CLOSED
This issue looks at the geographical and cultural origins of Asians and Asia. It will linger at the roots of Asia and suss out the geographical origins of the world’s highest mountains, lowest points on the surface of the earth, the biggest continent and the most remote point on earth, which all lies within the bedrock of Asia. The issue will also look at the major journeys across Asia, such as the trans-Siberian voyage, Orient Express passage, etc.

This issue will include stories on border conflicts/ DMZ, merged cultures, the changing of borders due to war, etc and political give and take (e.g., Russia & China’s island issues). The issue will also look at the unique architectures and interior décors of buildings that sit on the borders of Asia.

The issue will also include Asian aspects of filial piety and supported vastly by current statistics that reflect Asian landscape of family and marriages in Asia.

As well, locations, methods & ingredients that come from Asia will also be looked at. On the side, topics that deal with spiritual healing and meditation will also come into play.

This issue will be a collection of very personal efforts of Asians for Asians as we make this region a more liveable place to call home. Asia is home to a disturbing percentage of a population that lives below the poverty line. Wars, political disputes and ethnic aggression have displaced many lives within this great continent. This special edition will give back to the universe by telling the stories of unsung heroes and promote their movements or organisations, helping them bring their cause direct to our readers. NEEDED: Information at the end of every story that gives readers direct information on where to go to volunteer and who to contact directly for advise on what sort of donations is specifically needed.
