ASIAN Geographic PASSPORT Expeditions 2010
The Great Naadam Festival - Mongolia

HIGHLIGHTS

Mongolia occupies a special place in the minds of travelers. The mental pictures of vast steppes, desert, rivers and mountains all come true once you leave the urban sprawl of Ulaan Bataar, the capital, behind.

This trip is timed to coincide with the Great Nadaam Festival. Part family reunion, part carnival fair and part nomad Olympics, this is the country’s greatest event of the year, for foreigners and locals alike.
