ASIAN Geographic’s signature battle – Asia Without Borders Photography Competition – will take photography into a new realm. As the theme for 2010 s competition suggests, it will challenge photographers to capture that which is beautiful to watch. Amateurs and professionals are called upon to give it their best shot.

Poetry itself is a lyrical, stylised and evocative form of writing that is intended to be more insightful and of greater impact than the casual, everyday use of words. Thus, poetry in motion must capture the same kind of fluidity, style and grace, arousing the same kind of sensations that poetry does when compared to ordinary movements. After all, a picture is still worth a thousand words, poetry included.

No doubt, Asia Without Borders will encapsulate the best of the best and suspend them in time – beholding moments dramatic and spectacular.

One winner and runner-up will be selected from each category. A grand prize will be awarded to the best overall photograph as judged by our panel.
